Ask the surgeon: Ask the surgeon who performed the procedure, or acquire your medical records from him/her and take them to another GYN MD who specializes in Urogynecology and ask for a 2nd opinion Consultation after he/she reads the operative report and all records.

Extensive surgery?: Its not common to have long-term difficulty urinating after a simple A&P repair. Are you sure that you didn't have more extensive surgery such as a paravaginal wall repair, a Burch procedure, placement of a mesh, etc? Extensive surgery around the bladder and urethra or placement of a mesh for incontinence can cause problems like this but its unusual after a simple A&P repair. Best wishes!
