No problem: Lexapro (escitalopram) and citalopram are essentially the same thing. Most medications are made up of molecules that are mirror images (isomers). Half face left, half face right. In the case of citalopram, they found that only the left facing half was active, . So the separated our all the left facing citalopram and got lexapro (escitalopram). So 10 mg Lexapro (escitalopram) = 20 mg of citalopram. So there should be no problem.
