ANAs are complex: ANA panels are complex and difficult to interpret. Clinal correlation with the results and the patterns of positivity and negativity are vital, as no ANA test is 100% sensitive or specific for any one entity. An assessment by a clinician who has experience with collagen vascular diseases in general may be helpful.
