Parkinson's: The research that has looked at this issue is not conclusive. This indication is not one of the those approved for payment from medicare so the cost burden returns to the patient.

No: Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (hbot) is not approved for use in this condition by the fda, the centers for medicare and medicaid services (cms) or the undersea and hyperbaric medical society. While there are a number of studies looking at hbot for certain neurological conditions, there is no evidence for any benefit in parkinson's.
