Can you have malabsorbtion for 7 months without weightloss?

Yes: The clinical features of malabsorption depend upon the cause and severity of the disease. The classic clinical presentation of global malabsorption is diarrhea with pale, greasy, voluminous, foul-smelling stools and weight loss despite adequate food intake. However, this combination of findings is relatively uncommon, even with generalized mucosal disease. You should be evaluated by your doctor.

Yes: The gut injury leading to malabsorption can be partial. As long as there is any "normal" absorptive surfaces, a person can consume an amount that maintains or even exceeds their bodies needs. They could thus lose, maintain or gain weight while having some malabsorption.
