Tendon lengthening: Tendon lengthening outcomes vary and the rate and degree of recovering the mobility at the joint also varies. But you are doing right b y continuing the physiotherapy. 3 weeks is not a long enough time to see her running. Be patient and hang in there and be positive and encourage your daughter to motivate her. The best docs 2answer this would be the orthopedic doctor and the physical medicine doc.

Takes time: Tendon surgeries are very common for children with cp. The recovery can be longer than we would like and requires therapy. The good news is that the walking prognosis in hemillegic CP is excellent. I would mention however that the tendon surgery does not fix the primary issue which is the brain.
