Unhealthy: Carbohydrates are the major feeder of fat cells in the body so a high carb diet is likely to lead to weight gain. High carb diets are also generally very low in fats. This can be helpful for someone with heart disease but some types of fats, such as omega-3s are healthy and provide good health benefits. High carb diets are generally not well regarded.
