At least evaluated!: Regardless of how vague the phrase "healed wrong" is, the fact that it "looks infected" is more than enough to recommend at least getting it evaluated by a healthcare professional- depending on the type of cut and the severity of infection, you may risk either getting a serious blood infection or disfigurement.
