It all depends: On you and the person who died. Some people consider 50 or 60 old and some consider it old. I know one person who died at 70 and everyone thought she was so young and vibrant. Another person was considered old and to have lived a long life at 50, since she accomplished so much and coped with many medical problems for years. It very general terms we could say that under 40 is young and over 60 old.
