No: In the elderly who simply become weak and die, there's often no attempt to make a diagnosis. But it can be found. Age-related cardiomyopathy (loss of contractile strength of the heart), poor physical conditioning and poor nutrition (these kill), and pneumonia from aspirating saliva are common killers.
