How long does achilles strain take to heal?

Depends: This is very variable. Depends on the extent of "strain" or tendonopathy. It depends on how it is being treated. It depends on what the individual does during the day...People that use stairs and or ladders often will have a difficult time. I would be aggressive with treating this so that it can go away faster.

8 months: To fully heal the strain of any tendon, this will take approximately 8 months. The pain will dissipate much sooner with proper stretcing and avoiding activites that would injure the tendon.
