Sort of: It is closely related to amphetamines, and has a similar nucleus, as do many naturally occurring chemicals in the body (like adrenaline) as well as other drugs, including many decongestants and the antidepressant bupropion (wellbutrin or zyban). It will show up in drug screens as amphetamine, but definitive testing will show that it is phentermine.
