What foods should i eat daily to help regenerate nerves? i don't have diabetes i have a nerve compression injury?

Research has been ongoing in looking for nutrients to aid nerve regeneration. A neurologist, physiatrist or neurosurgeon may have the latest info about this. In the meantime follow a well balanced diet andr take a multivitamin to ensure intake of vit B12,folic acid. Limit concentrated sweets&,alcohol. Continue physical therapy & electrical stimulation of affected muscles if your MD prescribes them

There is no magic bullet, and "foods" will not help regenerate nerves. If the compression has been relieved, the nerve insulation will regenerate in about 4 weeks, and the central axon may grow back at 0.1 mm daily. A B-50 complex, once daily, may theoretically help, but no medicine is available to enhance nerve growth.
