Yes: It is not unusual to have pain for 8-12 weeks and then discomfort for a few more weeks. The bone takes time to heal then mature.

Probably: Fxs in the hand usually take 4-6 wks. To heal. However, the soft tissue injury around the fx can take more than double that time to.
