Need diagnosis: Certainly if you hurt your hand and it is painful, you need to be seen and likely get an X-ray. If you have a fracture a cast or splint will likely be needed. Some displaced fractures even need surgery. Be seen to get an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment for your injury.
