Not really: After all laparoscopic bariatric procedures, most of our patients go home on the following day, walk around pretty comfortably the next day, drive the car in about 5 days. Most return to work in about two weeks. All procedures about same recovery.

Down time.: Like any laparoscopic operation, there will be some down time afterwards, but you should be up and about fairly comfortably within a week.
