Mass growing : You will feel a lump growing under skin. Sometimes a white discharge is noted.

Skin lump, infection: A sebaceous cyst is a firm round nodule deep in the skin which results from accumulated oil (or sebum). This is usually due to a minor injury to the skin. The cyst gradually gets larger and then, radomly, can become infected when germs find their way in and multiply in the old oil. This causes pain, redness and rapid enlargement and, eventually, rupture. Removal is best if definitely enlarging.

No: A blow to the head can cause a concussion and also may cause serious bleeding which needs treatment. Brain tumors are accidents of cell division and not a consequence of trauma to the brain.

Very possible.: This symptom can be associated with disorders of the heart, like aortic stenosis, as well as anything that involves the cns, like a tumor. In fact, some telltale signs/syx. Include focal neurological deficit (impaired judgement, etc.), seizures, headache, stroke-like symptoms which may mean brain hemorrhage. Vision changes can occur due to the growth of a tumor. Dr. Michael Swor

Unlikely: Most ovarian cysts resolve on their own or with treatment. Occasionally, they leak the cyst fluid within (ruptured cyst) or twist (ovarian torsion). When that happens there is usually some degree of pain.

Have surgery, go on.: It's also called: papillary cystadenoma lymphomatosum, and is 8x > in smokers, occurs in men and women and in 5% - 14% or cases, warthin's tumor is bilateral. Warthin's tumor is highly unlikely to become malignant. This is not to be confused with wharton's duct, which is the name for the submandibular duct. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/warthin%27s_tumor.
A member asked:

The difference between appendicitis and a ruptured cyst?

2 doctor answers5 doctors weighed in
Dr. Otto Placik
Plastic Surgery 34 years experience
Huge but simlar pain: There is a huge difference between appendicitis and a ruptured cyst. However the initial symptoms may be nearly identical making the differential diagnosis confusing. Appendicitis requires close observation, antibiotics, and possible surgery for impending rupture. However rupture ovarian cysts rarely require intervention other than pain medication unless there is sever associated bleeding.
