What are the symptoms of a sebaceous cyst?

Mobile mass attached: Sebaceous cysts originate within the skin and are therefore attached over the mass. There is a layer of fat underneath the cyst that makes them movable. If the cyst ruptures under the skin, scar tissue forms and can initiate an inflammatory response. This will reduce their mobility and make them more difficult to remove.

Hard moveable lump: Under the skin. Can become infected, swell and become red and painful. But make sure it's a cyst and not something bad
