I guess yes: Carafate (sucralfate) produces a mucus like material to protect the lining of the stomach. I guess that you are concerned with the absorption of the Doxycycline . Tetracyclines like Doxycycline cannot get absorved only if taken with calcium containing medicines or dairy foods. Three hours may be enough . Doxycycline may upset the stomach if taken without food.
