1-2 weeks: Eyelid lift surgical procedures can involve upper lid blepharoplasty (removing excess skin), lower lid blepharoplasty, brow lifts, or a combination of the above. Non surgical lifts of this area can be performed with neurotransmitter blockers (like botox/dysport) or fillers. Healing times for surgical procedures range form 1 week to 1 month; whereas, injectables may have little to no down time.

Varies: Generally recovery after eyelid surgery should be relatively quick, especially if swelling and bruising are minimal. Stitches are typically removed 4 or 5 days after surgery. More significant swelling/bruising may take several weeks or longer to completely disappear. If visible the incisions gradually fade over weeks and months. Various measures can help improve healing/reduce recovery time.

Week: Days to one week off work. Sutures out in 5-7 days and back to normal activities in 2 weeks. Scar matures over 1 year (like all scars).

7 days: Most patients return to work at 7 days. Bruising and swelling are typically resolved at that point. The incisions, while pink at one week, are typically well camouflaged if properly placed. They can also be covered up with makeup as soon as the sutures are removed. I hope this information is helpful. Stephen weber, M.D. Lone tree facial plastic surgeon.
