Slim: A dental office should comply to a strict osha policy which protects the patients and employees. It is nothing wrong with asking to see how instruments are cleaned and sterilized.

Yes: Often depends on how invasive the procedure was and if dds perscribes antibiotics for after the procedure that is often done to prevent the so called secondary infection.
