Infected implany: At what stage of osseointegration did the implant get infected? Where on the implant and to what extent is there bone loss? Those factors will likely determine the prognosis, along with the knowledge and technical skills of the dentist who placed the implant. Treatment options need to be discussed with the surgeon who is actually treating you. Get a second opinion if necessary.
