A member asked:

How many hours do obstetricians work per week?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Varies: Great question but unfortunately, there is no single answer. Work hours are usually divided between: office/surgery/deliveries/hospital rounds. The time per week is based on the mds practice, location, and choice of lifestyle. In residency, there is a mandatory 80 hour/week max. This is set by he residency commission. In solo practice, if busy, one may easily cross over that mark.
