Causes: If you've never had a transfusion, your doctor is likely worried (assuming you are rh negative) that you could have been exposed at some point to rh + blood. This can happen in pregnancy (and miscarriage). Antibodies can also occur in hemolytic anemia, lupus, and some other disorders. Your doctor likely wants to see if father is rh +. If he is rh+, then may run a titer, or has run one alread.

Please discuss with : Your OB as your OB should explain everything to you, your question is too non specific , as you need to state which antibody is + and please call your OB tomorrow to discuss exactly what plan is and if necessary your OB should be consulting with a perinatologist.
