Running: In general, running should always be done first with weights done later since the running mechanics depend so much on proper muscle tone and function. Muscle fatigue causes your body to compensate when running, and can lead to injury. So, weights are always last!

Good Question: Every trainer has his own idea. I find a short warm up then weights then run works well for me. Try a couple of weeks each way and see what works best for you.
