Is having lap band surgery really the answer for most obese?

No: No one size fits all here. Lap band is adjustable and reversible but it does not work for some patients and complications do arise at times to require revision or removal. Bypass has been proven to be more durable overtime. If you are considering any bariatric procedure, a complete evaluation is required for you to understand the appropriate options.
