Lap band: Can't answer that in such a short space. I spend an hour discussing that with new patients. You need to meet the bmi requirements first. If you do, you may then be a candidate for surgery. If you are, the next question is which operation is best for you. Just because you want a lap band doesn't mean that is the right operation for you.
