Not uncommon: Pain at the incision sites is normal and usually gets better in a few days. Sometimes when we close those incisions a nerve can get trapped in the stitch and pain can last for up to a month but will get better. If you have severe pain all over your belly not just the incisions could be a sign of a bigger problem and you should talk to your surgeon.
