Multiple possibiliti: Swollen eyes are usually a reflection of irritation to the sensitive linings of the eyeball or lids. This can come from irritants, like house dust, smoke or soap, viruses, bacteria. It could be part of an allergic reaction or a rare systemic illness. If it doesn't seem to bother the kid & there is no buildup of pus or discharge, you can probably monitor the situation. If problems contact your dr.
