Infection: I'm not sure of your baby's age but the symptoms of drainage and swollen lids indicates infection. It may be a blockage in the nasal lacrimal duct. Swelling of lids may indicate spreading of the infection which can involve the eye. Have your baby checked for a final diagnosis and the best treatment. All the best.
