Shape of nose: It may stay the same shpe in no bony work was done and if no interference with the tip of the nose.

Most probably: Most of the time septal surgery to improve breathing will not change the shape of the external nose. The opposite is also true: the nose can be reshaped without affecting nasal airflow.

Most likely: If you put your finger on the top of the nose about half way between the eyes and the tip you are feeling the upper part of the nasal septum. Septoplasty surgery usually involves working on the middle and/or lower part of the septum (far away from the part of the nose you are touching). The goal is to open up the airway without disturbing the structural support or changing the shape of the nose.
