Clean, keep it clean: Brush 2+ times per day on all surfaces of every tooth (2+ minutes), floss daily, see your dental professionals 2x/year for check ups, cleanings, and treatment as needed. Minimal snacking, don't sip sugar drinks for extended time, don't eat after night brushing. Avoid sticky candies. See your dentist for much more.

Regular check ups : Regular cleanings every 6 months along with yearly bitewing x-rays and a full series and pan every 3 years. Flouride toothpaste, brushing and flossing twice daily. Avoid cigarettes, oral tobacco, and high sugar food content.

Combination: Regular (2x/yr at least) dental checkups and cleanings. Excellent effective home care including electric toothbrush use, and flossing and if desired,waterpik use. Avoiding excessive sweets when you cannot soon after clean your teeth. Healthy diet including plenty of vegetables,fruits,protein and water.Fluoride rinse at night if recommended by Dentist. Occlusal guard at night if needed. Good Luck.
