Treatment: Many patients stop wearing contacts due to dryness. Most of the time with the right treatment plan they would not have to. See your eye doctor, they can change the lenses, advise certain drops or punctal plugs to help. You may even consider laser vision correction.

Dry eye: Dry eye with contact lenses can be treated with artificial tears, ointment at night, warm compresses once daily, and omega-3 fatty acid supplementation. If persistent aymptoms, bilateral lower lid plugs may be considered. See your eye doctor.
