Take a CL break: The first rule of contact lens induced irritation is to completely discontinue your contacts (all contact wearers should have a pair of glasses) until the symptoms have resolved. If the irritation continues despite a break and even with a brand new pair of contacts, then see an ophthalmologist.

Contact lenses: Could be the type of contact lens and fit. Wearing schedule is also a factor , the longer worn the more dry they become. You need to get a thorough exam to accurately diagnosis the problem.
