Depends: If you have dry eyes or if it doesn't fit, never. If you are able to wear contact lenses with adequate tears and assuming its soft contact lenses that fit well, it should feel comfortable at least in 15 min, at most 30 min. If its not comfortable beyond that, i'd get it checked again.
