Night leg cramps: This could be nocturnal leg cramps. We used to recommend quinine at bedtime to prevent these. The fda now does not allow this on the market for nocturnal leg cramps. It used to work in an excellent manner. I do not support the fda's exclusion your best therapy now is to stretch your legs before bedtime. This can be effective in preventing these leg cramps.
