Pan-anxiety?: You say you're not only fearful about health issues, but everything you hear about on the news or web. That's a lot! you could be experiencing a type of anxiety disorder; please know there are good treatments for this. While working on general health with your family physician, you might also consider consulting a psychiatrist about your fears. With such partnerships, there's hope!

Not sure: Hypochondria is now called health anxiety disorder. It occurs when a person becomes obsessed with the idea that they have serious medical problems /condition (when there is no diagnosed condition).
