I'm concerned about two soars my daughter has on her upper lip and on the corner right by her lip. she has had it for about a week and it is now crusted over, should i seek medical attention just in case it is contagious or give it a few more days to heal

See Dr: Sounds like a type of herpes simplex virus. With crusting, that can be a sign of a secondary bacterial infection with staph. Good oral hygiene and cleansing along with a topical antibiotic will help but if not improving, prescription strength medication may be required. If draining or oozing, it may be contagious if exposed to another mucous membrane surface.
