A member asked:

What's the best way to get an eyelash out that is under the eyelid and rubbing against the eyeball?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Eyedrops: If indeed it is an eyelash (most sensations of foreign object in the eye are from other items or conditions) then it can be flushed out with copious eyedrops and sometimes will stick to a cotton tip applicator applied to the undersurface of the lid. If these do not work, see your ophthalmologist for evaluation as it may be another problem.
