What's the best way to get your eye to open in the morning when you have pink eye? i just got over pink eye, and every morning i had to peel my eyelashes apart. it was horrible and i lost a lot of lashes. if i ever get pink eye again, i'd like to know if

Doing : Doing it slowly is the best way. Apply a warm washcloth to loosen up the dried crusty debris and gently wipe away. It is, unfortunately, a time-consuming process.

Cotton : Cotton balls or a soft washcloth, soaked in warm water is your best bet!

I : I usually tell my patients to use a wash cloth soaked with warm water to work open the eyelid and clean up all the gunk. Be careful not to let anyone else use that washcloth or they could get your pink eye infection.
