A member asked:

What happens if an eyelash falls into my eye and under the eyelid? can't get it out now, will it be there forever?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not a problem: Eyelashes fall into the eye during the normal renewal cycle daily and frequently. The eye is well equipped to handle these. The moisture softens up the lash and normal tear flow and blinking eliminate the lash. It will be removed from under the upper lid by the same process. The eye has evolved to deal with this without your intervention.
