No: Pink eye, by definition, is conjunctivitis caused by bacterial infection. Majority of conjunctivitis (red eye) are actually caused by different viruses.

Herpes virus: The herpes virus can cause eye disease and is one potential cause of pink eye. It is not by far one of the most causes of pink eye though. See an eye doctor.
