Herpes virus: The herpes virus is killed seconds after coming into contact with water which is chlorinated properly and even in regular pool water. No herpes infection has been confirmed to have taken place in a chlorinated swimming pool. Depending on the severity, your eyemd may prefer you stay away from the chlorine.
