Treatment: You need to discuss with your doctor. You may need to have your medication adjusted. High blood sugars are exacerbated by anything with calories if not properly treated. Anything without calories won't affect your blood sugar directly. However, your liver will continue to manufacture an abnormal amount of glucose without proper treatment.
