Could ask family: It won't give you a diagnosis, but asking family/others close to you for their insights, could provide you with worthwhile considerations. You could share this with the psychiatrist if you wish. Although the psychiatrist will be most interested in what your concerns are, others' views about any recent changes in you may be useful too. Psychiatrist is there to understand and help you.

Why try?: If you're feeling something isn't right, why not go to an expert to help sort through the possibilities? Trying to self diagnose can lead to all sorts of needless worries and may even make accurate diagnosis harder: your answers to questions may change because you think you know what you're supposed to say. Find someone you trust and talk about what's troubling you; let him/her diagnose.
