A member asked:

Can stress cause a reading disorder in young adults?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Stress & Reading: A reading disorder is categorically a specific deficit that would exist even without stress. However, high levels of stress interfere with concentration and can, therefore, affect reading (which requires paying attention). Lower, or eliminate the stress and your usual reading level should return.
