A member asked:

Can stress really cause disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It can: Stress is the normal response of our body to the multiple stimuli that affects our daily living. It's responsible of our muscle to grow when we do routinely exercise and other beneficial effects. But if the stress is constant, and for long periods of time it can produce damage to our body and mind. The same will happen if you overexert your muscle: it will injure and get constant pain.
