Probably yes: Stress is one of the major causes of anxiety disorder. However, stress could just be a trigger. Just like, if you have diabetes, eating sugar can modify your condition. What you probably also may have is some predisposing factors like family history, difficult childhood, low self esteem, difficulty trusting others, and forth. Managing stress can help a lot as you cannot change much about other.
