Maybe: A minimally deviated septum will probably cause no problems. A badly deviated septum can cause difficulty breathing through the nose, and may lead to snoring and sleep problems.

Maybe: Only if you are having trouble breathing and it is caused by the deviated septum and not another cause.

Deviated septum: A deviated septum is not an uncommon problem. It can lead to nasal obstruction, snoring and even sinus issues. You only need surgery if you are having symptoms. B sure to have your nose evaluated by a board certified otolaryngologist.
