Fool For A Coach?: The mistake is in coaching yourself. That said, everything is conditioning. Strength training the same muscle group should be separated by at least 1 day. Cardio, flexibility, core strength (more than abs), skill training can be daily. Mix up training methods to maintain interest. If you decide to get a proper coach, make sure they are trained and knowledgeable in what they do.

Get a coach: You know the problem, you don't need to train more, just train smarter! i would seek the advice of a pro who works with other ufc level fighters if u r serious in maximizing your potential. Heart rate monitors can also help in preventing overtraining. Joel jameson is the best conditioning coach i know. Check out his website, 8weeksout.
